Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Welcome to (the ‘Site’). We value the intellectual property rights of others just as we expect our rights to be respected. As per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), a copyright owner or their agent can send us a takedown notice through our listed DMCA Agent. Being an internet service provider, we can claim immunity under the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA for infringement claims. To file an infringement claim, certain information must be provided:

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed.
  3. Details of the infringing material to be removed, including the URL for easy identification.
  4. Contact information of the complaining party.
  5. A statement affirming good faith belief of unauthorized use.
  6. A sworn statement of accuracy and authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Section 17 USC §512(f) enforces penalties for misrepresentation in infringement notices. Takedown notices should be sent via email for prompt action.

We may disclose the identity of the complaining party to the alleged infringer upon receiving a copyright infringement claim. By submitting a claim, you acknowledge the sharing of your identity with the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you wish to restore removed material due to a copyright claim, you can provide a counter notification to our DMCA Agent. The notification should contain:

  1. Your signature.
  2. Description of the taken-down material and its original location.
  3. A statement asserting material removal was a mistake.
  4. Your contact information and consent to jurisdiction for any legal matters.

Counter notices can be sent through our Contact page, with email as the preferred method.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy against copyright infringement. Under the DMCA, we track repeat offenders based on notices received and terminate their accounts accordingly.

Modifications

We retain the right to amend our DMCA policy at any time. Please revisit this page periodically to stay informed about any updates.
